The purpose of the job
This position’s primary goal is to give students the chance to apply for a national certificate in food and beverage packaging (NQF 3). They will sign a one-year fixed-term contract that will allow them to complete both on- and off-the-job training, leading to a national qualification.

Important results and duties:

The Learnership program is a structured learning initiative that integrates both on-the-job and off-the-job learning.
The work-based learning component offers the chance to apply the theory and the additional practical learning experiences needed, while the off-the-job component addresses more theoretical components of the learning.

Additional traits of a learnership include:

A national qualification listed on the Qualification Framework (NQF) is earned through a learnership.
SAQA (South African Qualifications Authority) approved unit standards serve as the foundation for the qualification.
The outcomes and evaluation criteria are included in the unit standards, which are meant to reflect value-adding abilities needed in the workplace.
Using a range of evaluation techniques and the assessment criteria as the benchmark for performance, competence is shown in the workplace.

Minimum specifications:

It will be advantageous to have Technical Courses (N3, N4, N5, or N6).
A minimum Matric with English and Mathematics
Self-driven, meticulous, able to collaborate well in groups, and capable of working efficiently
