Function of Job

To prepare the raw materials, combine the delay pyrotechnics and pour them into the lead tubes that will be used in the subsequent process to time the detonation of non-electric detonators.

Major Responsibilities

To ensure a high-quality end result, raw materials are prepared for use in the production of stubbies by screening, weighing, and swaging.
Adding basic components and blending various mixtures.
Requirements for SHE systems: waste water management, humidity monitoring, grounding testing, and safety observations.
In order to prevent safety mishaps, maintain up good housekeeping, including 5S.
As needed, the crew should wash its contaminated PPE to avoid exposure to heavy metals.
Watch the shift leader as they discharge the mixes.

Education requirement 

Grade 12 or equivalent with science and math skills and experience producing explosives
