Duties and Responsibilities :

  1. Supporting all facets of the purchasing process administratively.
  2. Ensuring that orders are entered into the purchasing system promptly.
  3. Maintaining the sample room’s control system.
  4. Spreadsheet and report compilation, balancing, and updating.
  5. Maintaining sample audits and quality assurance controls.
  6. Establishing positive, cooperative relationships with suppliers.
  7. All planning before presentations
  8. General office management and special projects as requested by the department.

Qualifications and  Experience:

The chosen applicant must:

  • Possess excellent coordination, be well organized, and have a strong grasp of numbers.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, be able to establish and develop working relationships, and be willing to help out in the department as needed.
  • Be proactive, energetic, and driven by your own motivation.
  • Have a lot of energy
  • Posses the capacity for multitasking and flexibility
  • Excel under pressure and approach work with a problem-solving mentality
  • Ability to work with a team and remain productive under pressure Possession of an optimistic outlook
  • Possess a Matriculation certificate as a minimum
  • Know how to use Microsoft Word and Excel (ODBMS would be advantageous)
