JOB DESCRIPTION
One component of the public-private initiative spearheaded by the Presidency to solve our nation’s young unemployment challenge is the young Employment Service (YES).
For South African youngsters without jobs, Eskom is generating employment prospects.

Those who are selected will be offered a 12-month contract to work in any Souh African province’s Eskom operations.
Minimum Conditions
• Must be between the ages of 18 and 34 and a citizen of South Africa.
• A post-matric certificate or program, or grade 12 or its equivalent.

Principal Duties
• Should not have been enrolled in full-time school during the year of work
• Should not have previously engaged in or registered for the YES initiative
• Should not have been employed permanently and consistently for more than a year with a single company
After completing a recruitment process, candidates will be assigned to various Eskom operations divisions.
