City of Johannesburg Skills Programme Learnership opportunity

Mimimum Requirements 

1. Only prospective or aspiring learners/unemployed.
2. Youths with a maximum NQF 1 certificate, Grade 9 General Education and Training (GET) certificate, Adult Basic Education and Training (ABET) 4 certificate, or any other such equivalent qualification.
3. SAQA recognized NQF 2 equivalent qualification.
4. Only CoJ residents will be considered for this position

Primary Function

• Mathematics in a road construction context (calculate quantities, plan work);
• Communicate in a road construction setting (verbally, in writing, and through signs);
• Exercise supervisory duties as a team leader (where such unit standards are chosen);
• Students who are seeking to become teachers must live in the regions.
• Carry out standard building tasks (as reflected in the unit standard chosen).
• Also should conduct general construction activities (per reflected in the unit standard chosen).
