Duties:

1.Stock receiving and offloading 

• De-stack stock and off-load items to the receiving area.
• Blindly receive stock into the store. Inspect all pallets for damage.
• Make sure that stock rotation is done correctly.
• Before opening new boxes, use the FIFO method
• Store the freezers at the rear.

2.Merchandising 

• Keep shop and shelves proper.
• At closing, restock before departing.
• Marketing of designated displays as per the roster, clean the designated places.

3.Reporting and counting 

• Examine the best-before, sell-by, and expiration dates, and identify any flaws.
• Perform daily blind stock counts in accordance with the established schedule.

4.Teamwork

• Support the department managers and your coworkers.
• Perform any other tasks—not those listed here—that the management may from time to time assign.
• Engage in active team participation.

5.Housekeeping and safety standards

• Ensures that the workspaces and tools are kept tidy and in excellent working order in accordance with accepted standards and regulations.
• Make sure the rules for personal hygiene are followed.
• For the health and safety of both you and others, take appropriate precautions.
• Wear the proper PPE in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures.
• No tampering or misuse of any equipment designed to protect the environment, your health, or your safety
• Maintain risk-free and spotless work environments.
