Goals of the Position
The Environmental Sustainability (ES) Intern’s job is to provide administrative assistance to the Sustainability Department by carrying out duties that further the department’s overall objectives, including but not restricted to:
implementing source-based waste separation at all locations
By 2030, cut food waste by 50% and eliminate landfill trash
Increased garbage and cardboard recycling
Job Purposes
Perform waste audits at various locations. Visit stores to collect statistics and information on specific areas (such as waste and energy usage).
Qualifications
Grade 12 (essential)
a diploma or degree in either engineering, science, waste management, or supply chain management
