A Junior Buyer position is open at Safair Operations, also known as FlySafair, with our head office located in Bonaero Park (JHB). Senior Manager: Supply Chain will receive reports from the selected candidate.
DUTY:
In charge of purchasing goods from regional vendors; in charge of all non-aviation purchases and any ad hoc duties;
help with any inquiries related to supplier payments
Each purchase gets processed quickly daily, and purchasers receive a notification when they have take action.
Monitoring the expiration dates of tools, life rafts, life jackets, and other equipment; Ensuring that supplier statements are checked and current; Weekly reporting on the status of outstanding orders;
solving issues involving suppliers while making sure their invoices are proper.

Education Requirement:
Grade 12/Matric
