About Internship

The CSIR offers unemployed graduates internship opportunities. The internship program gives graduates the chance to gain practical experience that supplements their theoretical studies while working under the supervision of more seasoned professionals. The curriculum spans a number of disciplines with a heavy emphasis on science, engineering, and technology (SET) as well as a communications support-based profession.

Requirements (applicants must have completed on of the two qualifications)

1. Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in engineering or science in any of the following fields:

Information Systems
Computer Network
Electrical Engineering
Computer Science/Engineering
Electronics Engineering
Information Technology
Software development
System engineering

OR

2.A three-year national diploma or a bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:

Communications
Journalism
Public Relations

Skills Required

• Good organizational and time management skills;
• Good scientific writing abilities;
• Outstanding academic record;
• Self-motivation, a will to learn, and the capacity to function well both alone and in groups are necessary;
• The capacity to plan and conduct research;
  outstanding technical skills;
• The capacity to perform successfully under pressure as a team member and achieve deadlines;
• Good verbal and written communication skills (e.g., with examples of authoring reports or conference papers)
• Good report writing capabilities

These should accompany your application

• a revised CV;
• a cover letter that precisely identifies the area of study you are applying for (either field one or field two);
• a duplicate of your legally valid identity document;
• a copy of your most recent transcript;
  completed certification evidence ( degree or diploma).
