RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Management (Internal)
Help manage customers by carrying out standard tasks to accomplish their requests.
Data Collection and Analysis
Ask questions, gather data from various sources, assess it, and investigate claims.
Make judgements based on specified criteria to ensure consistency throughout the company by accurately administering and underwriting claims.
Use the right tools to accurately cost applicable claims on a daily basis.
Work schedule and operational compliance
Create a work schedule to get the project done, coordinate with support services, and complete work within the SLA.
Ensure that claims are completed within the timeframe specified (turnaround time, terms and conditions applied correctly).
To make informed decisions, stay up to date on existing and new products
Communicates effectively
Creates and delivers multi-modal communications that demonstrate a thorough awareness of the specific demands of various audiences.
Ensures accountability.
It’s important to hold self and others accountable for meeting commitments.
Plans and Aligns
Plans and prioritises work to achieve obligations that are consistent with organisational goals.
Job requirements
General Education
Matric, Grade 12/SAQA Accredited Equivalent (essential)
General Experience
1 or more years of financial services industry experience (essential)
Call Centre Experience (Required)
STI Experience (Advantageous)
1 or more years of claims experience (essential).
