QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or National Certificate in one of the following fields:
Extractive metallurgy, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, instrumentation, analytical chemistry, occupational health & safety
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
knowledge of computers and the Microsoft Office Suite
good communication abilities both in speech as well as writing
initiative and a focus on results
physical health
DUTIES OBJECTIVES
You will answer to the applicable Manager in this role for the following:
For the duration of the program, enter into a tripartite agreement between the student, the host organization, and the MQA (Mining Qualification Authority).
take part in practical training and exposure at the employer’s facilities
Complete and submit progress reports every quarter as needed.
obey the rules on health and safety at work
carry out general administrative tasks and/or other tasks.
