Crane Driver

Duties and Responsibilities 

Perform daily crane inspections and forklift operations safely.
Before the start of the shift, the forklift must be pre-inspected, and the crane checklist must be finished.
To assist the truck driver or drivers, ensure that cars are quickly unloaded.
Help your team members with picking, loading, and storing products by using a crane.
Assistance with repacking sales orders and loading products
In accordance with corporate policy, report any damage or shrinkage immediately.
Requires flexibility in scheduling, including the opportunity to take breaks as needed.
Obey any new instructions from management.

Job Requirements

Grade 12 or the NQF’s equivalent
You need a crane license.
You must have no criminal past.
Forklift driving experience in a comparable context for at least a year
Position is located in a major warehouse and manufacturing complex.
Exposed to loud noise, movement sounds, and industry machinery.
Exposed to arid conditions and sweltering heat.
Must be willing and able to work overtime, including on weekends as needed.
