Job purpose

Both incoming stock and outgoing orders are promptly, accurately, and error-free chosen at the Siemens Warehouse. help manage the inventory. Inspect arriving items to make sure they are unpacked and disposed of in accordance with warehouse management binning strategies. a prompt loading and unloading of the cargo. packing of orders for delivery in accordance with IA/DT specifications. supporting any other IA/DT business as needed, including annual stock takes.

Qualifications

Grade 12/Matric

An appropriate or comparable learning experience would be beneficial.

Experience:

1–2 years of experience in a comparable role

Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook proficiency

Key Responsibilities

Obtain arriving merchandise from the goods receiving
Product binning
choosing orders for delivery

Principal Duties

As directed by Warehouse Management, unpack and dispose of arriving merchandise.

Binning tactics
Place and remove cargo
Picking of orders for delivery in accordance with warehouse management selecting tactics
Outgoing order packing in accordance with IA/DT standards
Management of Inventory
When necessary, assist with cycle counts; when necessary, assist with annual stocktakes; assist with returned stock, collections, and transfer orders
Help out with any other IA/DT business as needed.

Knowledge

Proficiency in the written and spoken English language Knowledge of the Siemens WMS system
